Jandie Smith-Turner Managing Principal
Jandie joined TMG as a Managing Principal in June of 2009. She has a long track record of partnering with TMG in the areas of candidate sourcing, identification, screening and retention consulting for the past five plus years.
With over 20 years of management consulting, Jandie Smith Turner has spent most of career providing business advisory services to help Fortune 500 companies run more effectively and efficiently. During Jandie’s tenure as a management consultant she consulted to and delivered workshops and seminars to the following organizations: Sara Lee, Holiday Inn, Bausch & Lomb, IDX Systems, FMC Corporation, Entergy, Black & Decker, Viacom (BET), Key Bank, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo Mortgage. In the past, Jandie has worked for by Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Gemini Consulting, The Hackett Group (Answerthink) and Global Lead Management Consulting. Her expertise includes corporate strategy, business transformation with an emphasis on corporate finance and human resources, organizational design and change, and diversity leadership consulting. She has strong quantitative skills as evidenced by her work in organization assessments, competency modeling, benchmarking, best practices and research studies. She continues to deliver strategy, change and diversity leadership engagements around the country.
In addition to her affiliation with The McMillan Group, Jandie runs Acuity International, a full-service consulting firm that also provides leadership development and team building. Prior to starting Acuity, Jandie was the Founder, President and CEO of Ensightful Management Consulting, Inc., a company focused on business planning, revenue enhancement and cost reduction.
She is a past or present board member of the following organizations: University of Virginia – Chairman’s Advisory Board for the Walter N. Ridley Scholarship Fund, Aids Interfaith Residential Services (AIRS), Baltimore Polytechnic Alumni Association and the First Tee of Baltimore. She is a member of Pitch and Putt Golf Club of Baltimore and Executive Women’s Golf. She is a 2003 graduate of the Greater Baltimore Committee’s LEADERship Program. Jandie holds two degrees from the University of Virginia, a B.S. in Systems Engineering and a MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business.
Jandie is married to Elijah Turner, Sr. – an IT Executive - and they reside with their two sons in Ellicott City, MD.
